Clojure: Lisp for the Real World
Stuart Sierra - Clojure/core team member
Wednesday, April 27, 2011 - 04:00 to 05:00 PM Ballroom DClojure is a new dynamic programming language for the Java Virtual Machine. Clojure introduces innovative ideas around state management and concurrency, while inheriting the best ideas from the long history of Lisp-like languages. It is a language designed to solve real problems, some of which are so pervasive in current programming practice that we don’t even recognize them as problems. This talk will provide an introduction to Clojure’s syntax and key concepts, with examples of how they can make a real impact in large, complex systems.
