James Wanga has spent the past 13 years designing software for brands such as NPR, Dow Jones, HBO and Morgan Stanley. His work includes the design and implementation of a real time communications platform for National Public Radio, a securities analytics platform for Dow Jones, and a first of its kind, AngularJS second screen experience for HBO that allows users to interact with shows and movies in real time using their mobile devices.

Amongst other things, James recently lead a team of hackers and scientists to win the 2013 NASA Space Apps Challenge Hardware prize as well as several Editor’s and Educator’s Choice Awards at the 2013 World Maker Faire.
