James is an Australian open source developer working as the lead developer for Play Framework at Typesafe. His passion is to see reactive software development adopted in the enterprise. In the past he was worked on web scale social networks at Holzbrinck Publishing Group, SaaS software development tools at Atlassian, and in a range of industries from manufacturing to financial services at CSC. When he’s not hacking on Play or other open source projects, he loves playing piano and guitar, and also likes growing his own vegetables.
